For our office in Lommel we are looking for a **Supply Chain Manager**

**Job Overview: L**ead and develop the Lommel procurement, demand planning, and logistics function in support of the plant’s Commercial, Manufacturing and general business operations.

**Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties**:
**Planning**
- Ensure that necessary cross functional processes are in place across Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure optimal planning. Integration of annual, monthly, weekly, and daily demand planning and execution. Develop and facilitate an effective S&OP and S&OE process. Build a robust value add planning and scheduling process and coach the team on effective execution.
- Directs and supports the team in planning specifics.
- Establishing labour demand planning necessary to execute the production plan. Collaborates with Commercial, Operations, and HR to develop and support workforce planning.
- Introduce and ensure that a necessary Performance to Plan feedback loop is in place and functioning.
- Ensure necessary KPIs are in place and prioritized. Ensure relevant reporting in place. Develop counter measures for underperforming key processes.

Procurement
- Developing procurement strategy for the plant to achieve business plan.
- Ensure the manufacturing operations are able to run optimally without interruption due to materials.
- Optimization of supply chain network at lowest cost and consistency of supply. Ensure that a robust category strategy is established and allows for long-term business continuity with lowest cost of goods.
- Develop necessary supplier strategy in partnership approach. Develop and execute best in class vendor rationalization and management program.
- Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming key processes, including performing periodic vendor audits to ensure supplier quality, on-time delivery, and continuous supplier base improvement.
- Manage and negotiate portfolio of supplier contracts and ensure terms and conditions build a strong foundation for future growth.
- Ensure necessary KPIs are in place and prioritized. Ensure relevant reporting in place. Develop counter measures for underperforming key processes.

Logistics
- Establish a logistics strategy to support the long-term business plan. Manage the entire warehouse, logistics and supply chain to ensure consistent and reliable supply network. Evaluate vendor reliability and quality performance and take action to ensure viable long term supply network.
- Optimize the network to ensure lowest cost of distribution with ability to meet customer needs.
- Implement processes to ensure the robust management of stock, (volume & value)
- Ensure necessary KPIs are in place and prioritized. Ensure relevant reporting in place. Develop counter measures for underperforming key processes.
- Direct and coach team

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in supply chain management
- 10+ years experience inventory deployment, procurement, demand planning, and logistics in support of manufacturing operations.
- Strong Operations and Commercial understanding.
- Proficient with ERP & relevant systems to support all aspects of planning, procurement, warehouse & distribution management
- Ability to develop and sustain a high performing team.
- Advanced consulting, influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to ensure strategic alignment with
- multiple parties.
- Strong project management and leadership skills. Ability to assign priorities in a fast-paced and
- changing environment.
- Ability to collaborate and bridge across functional boundaries.
- Strong business acumen and able to develop a team that supports operations with a focus on both
- internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and
- communicate effectively with both senior management and technicians.
