We're looking for an Event Specialist to help us engage with Guardsquare's target audiences through large industry trade shows, smaller focused events, Guardsquare-hosted roundtables and partner-supported meetings. As a member of the Demand Generation team, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing Operations, Graphic Design, and Product Marketing. You will also work closely with industry associations, event management vendors, and Guardsquare partners.
**Responsibilities**
- Own the event calendar, including researching and evaluating trade shows based on agreed upon criteria, maintaining documentation of potential and committed events, and executing on Guardsquare's participation.
- Establish and execute an integrated, multi-touch event marketing program ensuring that we maximize our investment and achieve our targets.
- Determine success metrics for each event; track and analyze the success of each event (quantitatively and qualitatively).
- Identify, document and implement opportunities for optimizing Guardsquare-hosted events or our participation in 3rd party events.
- Maintain the event budget, tracking all aspects of Guardsquare investment including, but not limited to: sponsorship costs, venue expenses, promotional items, collateral.
- Actively communicate and engage with Sales to ensure effective and efficient pre-event preparation/promotion, on-site showfloor engagement, and post-event lead follow-up.
- Manage the event-submission process, tracking participation/sponsorship requests, analyzing potential success of an event, engaging with Marketing and Sales leadership for approval/rejection, and ensuring timely responses to event submissions.
- Partner with the extended Marketing team, such as our Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager, as well as third-party vendors, to maximize investments
- Establish and manage a regular cadence of updates and event-specific meetings with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and engagement
- Work closely with marketing and sales operations to ensure timely and accurate lead upload.
**Profile**
- 2-4 years experience managing multi-touch campaigns and/or event engagements from proposal to execution and follow up; B2B strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple parallel delivery schedules
- Process-oriented person who thrives on delivering high quality results
- The ability to work independently and with cross-functional global teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, regularly evolving environment that values creativity, self-motivation, reliability and accountability
- Aptitude for understanding and communicating technical information
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
