**What We Need**:
We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager/Product Owner to help us raise brand awareness, support product development, and provide excellent customer service for our lighting and AV brands, SoundSwitch and Arkaos. You’ll work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes us unique and help us shape our outward image. We’ll turn to you to own product roadmaps and deliver products that customers love, understand how to appeal to new customers, brand loyalists and distributors, and help us improve the brand's presence in the industry. If you’re creative, possess a strategic mind and have experience in any of these areas, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help us improve our reputation and drive growth. The SoundSwitch and Arkaos team are based in the EU, primarily speaking Dutch and English, and our biggest clients are French speaking. **What You'll Do**:
- Marketing:
- Plan marketing campaigns together with the marketing team for hardware and software product releases, which includes newsletter, social media, attending events such as trade shows.
- Align in-house marketing with distributors.
- Oversee brand social media accounts in partnership with the digital marketing team.
- Sales:
- Oversee sales, plan forecasts
- Report weekly to management
- Communicate and evaluate distributors
- VIP Support
- Be the face towards important clients, including visiting them during events
- Training
- Train distributors on our products to ensure success with their customers.
- Provide product training materials to cross-functional teams in marketing, creative, and customer support for the purpose of creating useful content.
- Product Owner: in coordination with the Product Manager and Head of Development:
- Plan the product roadmap
- Work out UX mockups and functional analysis with the Industrial Design team
- Convert the needs of users into epics and stories
- Prioritise the backlog
- Sit in the weekly development meetings to provide practical input
- Test prototype hardware, alpha and beta software and provide structured feedback to R&D
- Follow up with QA team
- Office Administration:
- Manage the rent of the office.
- Oversee the back-office management.
**Requirements**:
- Proven working experience as Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to leadership
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
- Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
- Outstanding communication skills
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Degree in marketing or a related field
- Experience working with distributors a plus
- Bilingual in Dutch and English, French a plus
