Our client is an industry leader in compounding and extrusion, feeding and weighing, bulk material handling and service, with entities in several locations across the globe. The company is currently looking for a Service Technician (M/F/d) for their business unit "Twin screw extruders" who is interested in working in the workshop directly but also on the field in Belgium and Northern Holland. Tasks \- Performing gearbox revisions & other twin screw extruder service work. \- Providing customers with excellent service (on-site). \- Inspecting, repairing & revisioning extruder gearboxes. \- Mechanical installation of twin screw extruders at customer sites \- Reporting of service jobs **Requirements**: \- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken) \- Knowledge of German would be an asset \- Secondary education (mechanical / electro-mechanical) \- Several years of experience as a technician, service engineer or a similar function \- Experience with gearboxes \- Experience with standard MS software products \- Ability to work in a team \- Pro-active \- Problem-solving ability \- Eager to learn \- Willingness to assume responsibility \- Willingness to travel, up to 20%, mainly within BeNeLux (sometimes perhaps France/Germany) **Benefits**: \- Indefinite working contract \- 20 + 12 holidays \- Competitive salary \- Company car including gas card \- Company phone \- ECO vouchers \- Food vouchers \- 40h week \- Compensation for over hours \- Per diem allowance for field trips \- Environment with flat hierarchies, flexibility, and quick decision-making processes \- Challenging and interesting tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility
