Payroll Officer Are you a passionate payroll professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and stimulating environment? This job is for you The HR Center of Excellence (CoE) within Proximus NXT provides support to the various branches of the Proximus Group in the areas of HR administration, payroll, labor law, compensation & benefits, and international employment. We are currently looking for an experienced HR Payroll Officer. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for delivering high-quality and timely payroll for employees (PC200), in accordance with group policies and general legislation. You manage the daily follow-up of personnel information.
- You work closely with the social secretariat case manager, the recruitment department, HR business partners, service center coordinators of the branches, and the various HR CoE.
- You provide information to employees and respond to specific questions regarding payroll and salary administration.
- In addition to your responsibility for payroll follow-up, you may contribute to the development and implementation of projects within the HR organization.
- You continuously question policies, processes, tools, and procedures and present advice to optimize them. You are involved in or lead projects aimed at further professionalization.
- You support the implementation and monitoring of HR software tools and ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data in these systems, so that reports on personnel data are delivered in a uniform and efficient manner.
- You keep your knowledge of social legislation up to date to proactively add value to the organization and maintain your role as an expert. Profile
- You have solid experience in processing payroll, ideally for multiple legal entities with differentiation in salary policies.
- You work analytically, accurately, and efficiently, and you are resilient under stress.
- Knowledge of the payroll tools SD Worx and Partena is required.
- Good knowledge of Belgian social legislation is required.
- You critically question matters and take independent initiatives to improve the functioning of the department and the payroll process within the organization. You strive for continuous improvement of service to your clients.
- You organize your tasks autonomously and respect deadlines. Additionally, you are a communicative, customer-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French; English is a plus.
- You are willing to travel to our headquarters in Evere or Brussels North Station (±40%), with occasional travel to branches.
