Export Agent

**The Role**:
All aspects of daily Export Operations, from the moment a job is created, processing and monitoring through to its arrival at destination. This will include preparation and booking of Airwaybills, checking if flight details are correct, creating customs declarations for non EU shipments, to include Winsad entries. Use of a variety of IT systems, external communication with service providers and internal communications within the network. Offer leadership to more junior staff members and support to those more senior.

**The holder of this position may perform the following tasks**:

- Handle export/outbound of various shipments:

- Airline booking
- Mawb preparation
- Packaging & labelling check
- Monitoring of security check
- Prepare customs export documents
- Check post flights
- What your background should look like
- Be fluent in French, Dutch and English (other languages are beneficial but not essential)
- Have gained experience in the logistics sector (Freight Forwarding business strongly preferred. Other Courier Company, Airline, Handling Agent, etc.).
- Provide strong organisational skills and pay attention to detail.
- Resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Have an in depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and other IT programs.
- Have acquired basic/advanced knowledge of IATA/ADR/DGR, Live Animal Regulations, Airlines, Airfreight Rates & other Paperwork related to Airfreight.
- Previous pharmaceutical or other time critical freight forwarding experience preferred.
