Export Area Manager

As an export area manager, you combine your proven commercial and technical skills. You will be responsible for the sales through our existing distributors and key accounts in English speaking African countries. In addition to maintaining and guiding the current partners, there are challenges to enthuse the right prospects in new markets and to target key accounts directly. This function requires a travel percentage of 25%.

You will be working in an enthusiastic and dynamic team of Export Area Managers supported by our inside sales. Next to your direct team, you will be working closely with the marketing, product, and regulatory department.

Your main tasks:

- Drawing up yearly sales plans per region and partner
- Achieving sales targets by negotiating, follow-up and closing of commercial operations
- Providing technical advice and assistance to partners and end-users
- Searching and approaching potential partners and key accounts
- Participating and organizing in national and international fairs and seminars
- Expanding the existing customer base
- Analysing the market to further expand our product portfolio in the region
- Positioning our products and company proactively

- Technical know-how
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and provide solutions
- Proficient in English. Good knowledge of French is an asset.
