Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.

**Functieomschrijving**:
You will integrate within our client’s Facility Security Management Team, you will be responsible for setting up and delivering one or more projects related to WIFI Technology.
- You will design detailed studies in accordance with applicable standards in consultation all stakeholders;
- You will determine the functional specifications for existing and new solutions or to replace existing technology solutions;
- You will validate the offers submitted by the suppliers;
- You will draw up specification texts, measurement statements and study plans for tenders;
- You will determine the high level scope of WIFI Technology related projects, the schedule and the budget, you will estimate the effort and cost of the implementation of these projects;
- You will determine the detailed scope, planning and budget, you will communicate this information to the project team starting with setting up a Project Team kick-off meeting;
- You will manage and follow up the risks and problems with the Project Team and if necessary escalate in time in order to find solutions;
- You will ensure the necessary transfer, documentation and training to the everybody involved, included the Support Teams;
- You will keep the Business Project Manager informed about the progress of the projects;
- You will provide updates to all stakeholders through a Project Status Reports, you will ensure a follow-up of the actual cost, effort and progress;
- You will write the technical part of the specifications in the context of framework contracts, you will evaluate the submitted offers and select the supplier;
- You will act as a contact person for all stakeholders in connection with guidelines and agreements based on the framework contracts;
- You will monitor market developments with regard to cabling, network and WIFI infrastructure;
- You will intervene in case of problems and escalations of incidents, you will analyse the situation, you will contact the parties involved, and you will initiate the necessary actions and ensure that the problem is resolved.

**Vereiste ervaring**:

- You have at least a **Bachelor’s degree in electronics / electrical engineering** or you are equivalent through relevant professional experience;
- You have **at least 10 years of experience** in a similar position;
- You have a thorough technical knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, installation of power boards (low voltage) and associated infrastructure, housing (ODF, racks, patch panels, etc), civil works and installation works, AREI/ARAB, VCA and safety on sites with regard to installation work, structured cabling and fiber technology with specific focus on installation, maintenance and product knowledge;
- Having **BA4/5 certification is recommended, you are preferably PM² certified;**:

- You have strong communication skills, are customer-oriented and have a sense of initiative
- You are **fluent in Dutch, French and English**.
