Thanks to the unique properties of protons, tumors can be targeted more accurately while limiting exposure of the surrounding healthy tissues

We provide two types of therapy center: the IBA’s Proteus®PLUS which offer a multi-room solution and the Proteus®ONE who is a more compact single room solution that is easier to install, integrate and operate.

To date, more than 58 world renowned medical institutions have built a Particle Therapy Center with IBA across 3 continents.

IBA constantly improve the proton therapy technology for the benefit of patients. We work diligently to advance proton therapy, in close collaboration with our customers and through R&D partnerships.

As a Software Tester, you will contribute to the
**verification **and
**validation **of beam production and transport software which is a
**key component of our proton therapy system**.

In such you will be part of an
**agile-oriented**
**development team**.

You will
**challenge solutions** with business analysts and other technical experts. In parallel of new developments you will participate to the
**global quality improvement of the product** by defining and putting in place
**test strategies**.

If you have a
**test-oriented mindset** and are eager to i
**mprove cancer treatment** in a technological environment, join our team
- You have a** Master degree in Computer Science** or equivalent with **at least 3 years of practical experience** in a constraining environment (safety critical software risk management knowledge is a plus);
- You have a **strong expertise in test strategies**;
- Good knowledge in **Python **is a must;
- Knowledge in **SonarQube and TeamCity** is a plus;
- Knowledge in **Java and Unit Testing frameworks** is a plus;
- You have strong analysis skills and love learning new technologies;
- You are solution-oriented and show initiatives;
- Given the international environment, you have **excellent communication skills in English** and preferably also in French;
- You are willing to travel up to 15% of your time.
