**What you'll do**:
Gain a deep understanding of business processes underpinning balancing data, and thoroughly document them;
Define, implement, and oversee data quality rules for monitoring for balancing data;
Conduct in-depth root cause analysis in response to data quality issues;
Propose and coordinate corrective actions and long-term solutions to structurally improve data quality;
Act as a key support to the Data Owner, contributing to the evolution of data-driven products and services.
Drive the transition from IT-led to business-led data products, ensuring the business takes ownership of high-quality, timely, and reliable data delivery.
Collaborate within cross-functional teams (business and IT) to co-create and deliver value-added data products.
**What you bring**:
master's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
Min 3 years of proven experience as a Data Steward or in a similar role.
strong interest in the energy sector and either understand or are eager to learn about the dynamics of the energy market.
analytical mind to tackle complex problems in a simple and structured way.
proven experience in SQL, Python,... or analytical tools.
Focus on details without losing sight of the overall picture and deliver flawless work.
like teamwork and is result-oriented.
learn quickly, with a proactive and positive mindset.
fluent in Dutch or French and can communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing.
