Material Planner

To support its grow, Catalent Cell and Gene Therapy is creating a new role for a highly motivated **Material Planner.**

The Material Planner is in charge to ensure reliable supply by forecasting and ordering the raw materials and consumables required to support the operation activities.

**The Role**
- Manage the replenishment process (MRP) of the stock of raw material and consumables for laboratories (non GMP) activities and GMP manufacturing
- Create and monitor open orders and manage back orders by ensuring proper proactive and corrective actions are taken.
- Follow up and challenge the delivery of our suppliers near and with procurement/logistics department
- Ensure Inventory Levels are on Defined Target : Monitor the level of inventory to take appropriate action (valorization, obsolescence, find solution for excess stock)
- Review and maintain master data in ERP to manage appropriate level of stock.
- Calculate the re-order point and safety stock to put in place
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and scenario assessment related to Material management
- Proactively communicate upstream and downstream with internal stakeholders to tackle possible constraints and ensure the best service level
- KPI monitor and follow-up
- Support JDE implementation and roll out - as SME
- Ability to secure the portfolio autonomously
- Degree in Supply or equivalent by experience
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Stock Management
- IT Expertise: ERP & Business Intelligence Tools Microsoft Office Suite
- JDE Software
- Experience in highly regulated industries
- APICS & Lean 6 Sigma certifications is a plus
- Scientific background is a plus
- Fluent French & English
- Open-minded, able to work with all departments
