**Van de Wiele is looking to strengthen its team with an Assembler for mechanical assembly and testing of weaving machines in the assembly department.**

**Your role**:

- You will assemble various components (mechanical, electrical and pneumatic) for our weaving machines in pre-assembly, carting or in the assembly line.
- You measure, check and register critical assembly parameters
- You are responsible for adjusting the various assemblies and pre-assemblies.
- You test the functional groups of the weaving machines before releasing them for shipment
- You are responsible for the delivered quality
- You will receive on-the-job training supplemented by internal technical courses
- You work in a daytime regime or in a 2-shift system

**Your profile**:

- You have a technical background: training in mechanics, electromechanics or car mechanics
- You have a keen interest in precision mechanics
- You have a sense of responsibility, accuracy and quality
- You have good spatial insight and knowledge of reading plans
- A first experience as an assembler is a plus
- You consider quality and safety of paramount importance
