Als creatief director sta je samen met de coördinator/zakelijke leider aan het hoofd van de Creatieve Cel van VRT. Dit team staat in voor het maken van promotiemateriaal (video) van onze programma’s. Je bepaalt de creatieve visie en je bent verantwoordelijk voor de volledige output van de Creative Cel. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan onze algemeen directeur Content. Je belangrijkste klanten zijn de afdelingen Marketing en Creative partnerships.
Naast het strategische en creatieve luik, ben jij een geweldige team leider met het vermogen om het talent van je team te maximaliseren.
Hoe een doorsnee werkdag eruit ziet? De ene dag schrijf je de copy voor de lancering van een nieuw product. Het volgende moment kan je naast de regisseursstoel staan bij een casting. Afwisseling gegarandeerd dus
Ontwikkeling van concepten en verhalen Je ontwikkelt concepten en verhalen. Je weet wat er leeft in de maatschappij zodat de ontwikkelde concepten, net zoals VRT, maatschappelijk relevant zijn. Je bent een expert in alle facetten van het creatieve proces, de creatieve industrie en nieuwe technologieën. Je vertaalt de visie van de klant naar tastbare en leverbare campagnes. Je presenteert je visie, strategieën en concepten aan klanten, collega’s, en externe productiehuizen. Samen met de coördinator/zakelijke leider maak je budgetten op om zowel kwaliteit als efficiëntie te waarborgen. Samen met de coördinator/zakelijke leider maak je planningen op voor korte

Aansturen van een creatief team Je stuurt het creatief team aan. Je geeft feedback, maakt een selectie van ideeën, en stuurt bij waar nodig om concepten nog sterker te maken. Je herwerkt samen met het team de concepten tot deze finaal goedgekeurd zijn door de klant. Je werkt dagelijks samen met regisseurs, grafisch ontwerpers, copywriters, monteurs, accountmanagers, brandmanagers, productiehuizen enz. Je zorgt ervoor dat het werk van het team consistent, coherent en relevant is. Je superviseert alle producties van A tot Z (van montagespots tot shoots) en begeleidt het productieteam.
Ervaren people manager met een passie voor het bouwen van merken Je hebt minstens drie jaar ervaring als people manager of in een leidinggevende rol. Je hebt ervaring met het bouwen van merken, bijvoorbeeld op vlak van 360-programmacommunicatie en campagnes. Je bouwt sterke relaties op en kan het vertrouwen winnen van klanten en mogelijke partners, zoals productiehuizen. Je hebt strategisch inzicht. Je communiceert overtuigend en je hebt sterke presentatie skills. Je weet hoe je talent kan aantrekken om je team verder uit te bouwen. Je bent mee met de trends op vlak van productie, technologie en maatschappij. Je bent stressbestendig.
