For a client based in **Leuven**, Hays Technology is looking for a **freelance React developer.
- **Long-term contract**:

- ** English (French or Dutch is a plus)**:

- **Remote working policy: 3-4 days at the office**

For our client in the manufacturing sector, we are looking for an experienced React developer.

As a
**React**
**developer **you will;
- Be part of an agile development team that is responsible for converting its backlog into deployable features
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of these features
- Contribute to the reduction of bugs and technical debt
- Utilize the latest tools and technologies to deliver a world-class product
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills
- Lead and coach a team of developers
- Continually learn to keep skills up to date with fast-changing trends

**Your profile:
- You have knowledge of Typescript & Javascript
- You’re strong in HTML, CSS
- You have good knowledge of React and Next.js
- You have a good understanding of object-oriented Programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- You have experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies like TDD
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills
- You like to coach and guide junior team members
- You have experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.)
- You have knowledge of agile development principles
- You have experience with at least 1 code versioning system (Git, SVN, etc.)
- You have a good understanding of communication protocols and methodologies such as GraphQL, OpenAPI
- You have a broad knowledge of front-end frameworks (Vue, Angular, etc.)
- You have experience with multitier architectures and state management
- You have experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
- You have working knowledge and understanding of data models, databases e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL Server
