Ugani Prosthetics trains Orthopaedic specialists in low-income countries in the use of 3D technology to lower the price of Orthotics and Prosthetics. We help revolutionize the O&P industry with the help of 3D, leading to a lower price for the patients and society as a whole.
Our customizable offering consists of different packages, that can be tailored to a specific need. They include everything to get started with 3D, including hardware, software, know-how, and training. For larger centers, a turnkey 3D prosthetic lab is available, helping to scale the operations and minimize costs.

**About The Role**
We are currently starting a new business unit in the EU. Our offering so far was focused on developing countries, but the need is also high in western countries. As part of the initial launch, we are looking for a Business Unit Intern to help implement and scale the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team launching EU operations in the early stage of the adventure. As Business Unit Intern, you will work closely with our CEO and COO to collect precious market insights and close first projects.
As a business developer, your mission will be
- Hunt to find and attract new opportunities using different tools and strategies
- Onboard new patients, and ensure they understand the products and benefits of Ugani
- Work closely with the CEO and COO to boost your unit
- Collect and communicate the needs and requirements of the EU patients to the global product, marketing and operations teams
- Own the marketing and communication of the new unit
- Work on other projects (KPI's reporting, Recruiting, Operations, Growth)
Being hands-on, ready to help, and go the extra mile to launch EU as well as challenge your priorities with a strong business mindset will be key for success
If everything goes well, you will be able to continue the Ugani adventure with a permanent contract directly after your internship
**Your profile**
- You want to work for impact, and not for cash
- You want to learn about the driving strategy and operations of successful startups
- You’re completing your Bachelor and/or Master in business, management, marketing, industrial engineering or any other related department and willing to do a minimum of 6 months of internship
- You speak French or Dutch and have a good level in English.
- You are proactive, independent and eager to learn and to acquire new skills
- You have great social skills, and are strong in communication and marketing
- You have an analytical mindset, you love to measure and improve your performance
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have great organizational and project management skills, you never miss an appointment
