Release Manager

Are you an experienced project manager ready to take the next step? Do you want to help build the future of healthcare? For our client Nexuzhealth, we’re looking for a Release Manager to play an important role in the further development of their MOAPR platform (the Mother Of All Patient Records), and support them in their continued growth.
As Release Manager, you are responsible for the coordination of the complete software release cycle, from start-up to delivery and production of their SaaS solution. You guarantee the stability of the platform through planning, quality control and communication, and provide feedback to help the continuous improvement process.

**Furthermore**:
You offer support in identifying and collecting the release content
You facilitate release installations and issue status reports
You monitor the release schedules and give a timely warning in case the calendar is endangered
You communicate with stakeholders, escalate obstacles, help manage risks and drive continuous improvement

**You take care of the entire release process**:
you identify risks and problems, try to avoid them and define a plan to resolve them when they arise
you identify opportunities to improve quality and remove unnecessary activities
Nexuzhealth is a young joint venture of UZ Leuven and Cegeka. We build and maintain Klinisch Werkstation (KWS), a software platform for medical care support and electronic patient file management. However, we want to be more than a supplier of Electronic Patient Records for hospitals. We have the ambition to support a community of users in their operation and collaboration. This is where you come in.
We’re looking for someone with experience in release management, or in project management/test coordination in an environment where release management is applied. You’re result-driven and self-starting, you handle your tasks efficiently and with a sense of responsibility.

**You**:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in IT
Have knowledge of and experience with SaaS solutions (preferably in a Google Cloud Platform environment), DevSecOps and Agile/Scrum methodology
Have a good understanding of software engineering and testing frameworks
Have sufficient experience to expose weaknesses and make improvements
Have experience with software development and Operations/Infrastructure
Have good stakeholder management skills and relational skills and communicate with ease
Have strong diplomatic skills. You’re not afraid to defend your point of view, and you can reconcile parties who differ in opinion
Stay calm and understand what’s necessary to resolve issues and release patch
- and hotfix releases
Experience with quality processes (Quality Assurance) is a plus
