Think of Windows, MacBook, scan and print solutions, connectivity in and between the office buildings and when working from home, communication and collaboration platforms, telephony solutions and back-end systems. In short: we make sure that KBC employees are always connected. And to keep our team running smoothly, we are looking for a System Architect. As a System Architect you are** responsible for the architecture of the solutions delivered by the Agile Release Train, and you build these solutions together with the agile teams**. Together with Corporate HR, Facility Management and Communication, DockFactory drives the digitalization of all Belgian KBC employees. We **provide the personal laptops with which they are always connected at the office**, with the customer and at home, connect their mobile devices and help them grow in digital cooperation. We guide them in the use of the digital tools and offer support through various support channels. **What do we expect from you?**: You will be the **fifth system architect **in the team and **focus on improving and strengthening the security of our tools**. In time your job can evolve, but at the start your tasks will consist of - **describing solutions, analyzing trade-offs** and defining the interaction between them. - **defining functional and non-functional requirements**. - **detecting** and monitoring **boundary conditions**. - **collaborate with customers and suppliers** to determine the most appropriate solutions. - **coordinate technical directions** with other teams and evaluate and adapt them. - actively **participate in our Scaled Agile meetings**: PI planning, demos, sync meetings, Inspect & Adapt. - **actively participate in our Exploration and Innovation cycle**. **Your key strengths?**: - You have a **bachelor's or mater degree in IT or Engineering** and **at least three years of experience** in system design and architecture. Experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) is a plus. - You have **experience in architecture**: Design, Modeling, Documentation, Solution architecture. - **Defining strategic objectives and specific goals** is something you enjoy incredibly.
