Development Planner

As a DEVELOPMENT PLANNER at Melexis, you will set up the supply chain flow and manage the supply of the assigned products towards customers’ short, mid and long term demands. You will be responsible for pulling material through all operational processes, to ultimately deliver the goods on time and in full to the customer.

More specifically, you will:

- Plan the supply of materials with Melexis suppliers and subcontractors for assigned projects
- Ensure that we have the right amount of material in the pipe, coordinating closely with relevant teams to cover anticipated demands on time and on scope
- Maintain close collaboration with project managers, development team and supply chain team to ensure the smooth production process and take part in preparing the production documentation
- Ensure a smooth planning transfer of any new product from development phase into production in close cooperation with the supply chain team
- Manage phase-ins of products in close cooperation with the business unit and Project Manager in order to assure sufficient material for ramp up
- Pro-actively seek to prevent inadequacy and shortfalls, as well as maintain a clear material status overview for internal stakeholders
- Contribute to / support the achievement of CPMO projects in development / supply chain / manufacturing

**Your profile**:

- You have a proven track record in material planning, experience in electronics or automotive industry will be considered as a plus
- You are a problem solver, who thinks outside of the box to find solutions
- You are stress resistant, and are able to juggle multiple projects at the same time
- You have excellent communication skills, and are able to work in multicultural environment
- You are fluent in English
