DAE Studios is an applied game studio that harnesses the power of game technology to help our clients innovate, educate, and create immersive experiences. We believe in solving real-world problems with creativity, collaboration, and technology.
To help us bring these games to life, we’re looking for a Game Developer to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing, optimizing and maintaining game mechanics and features using Unity or Godot
- Collaborating closely with our game designer to translate their vision into code.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Test and debug the front
- and back-end to ensure a reliable user experience.

**Requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of the entire game pipeline
- In-depth knowledge of at least 1 Game Engine (Unity/Godot).
- Strong programming knowledge (e.g. C++).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for creating innovative, user-centred games, for solving problems for people.
- The ability to analyze and understand the workflows of other disciplines.
- Open-minded and willing to iterate on a feature based on feedback.
- Proficiency in English and/or Dutch.

**Bonus skills**
- Experience in working with Firebase for backend logic and databases.
- Understanding of JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue, React, or Angular.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Understanding of UI/UX design.
