Senior Accountant

KEMIN ANIMAL NUTRITION AND HEALTH - EMENA is searching a Senior Accountant for a temporary assignement of 6 months

**Responsibilities**:
As Senior accountant at KEMIN you will become part of our Finance team EMENA. You will have a variety of responsibilities such as:

- Responsible for the monthly and year end closing procedures for several Kemin companies and affiliates. A-Z
- Offer support in the preparation for tax compliancy matters ex. transfer pricing documentations and Local/ Master file.
- Assure monthly MDR -DAC 6 reporting
- Conducting the declaration of Corporate Income tax
- Preparation of VAT & Intrastat listings in view of the VAT declarations
- Assist with correspondence from taxing authorities regarding, assessments, tax notices, audits requests, and other related issues.
- Preparation and management of the Annual Accounts deposit
- Managing and preparing documentation for the workers council
- Offer support in budget preparations and with internal control processes & procedures
- Support the audit activities by preparing the information requirements for internal and external audits

Qualifications:
**What we expect of you**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accountancy or relevant by experience
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, policies and procedures as they relate to financial statements
- Understanding of tax and corporate tax
- Hands on team player
- Accurate, punctual and flexible person
- Able to work with and towards deadlines
- Very strong knowledge of MS office package, knowledge of Infor M3 is a plus
- Good communication skills verbally and written in English - French is a plus
