For the organizations and teams which we support in optimizing their Flow, growing their autonomy, or lowering their cognitive load, we’re looking for a passionate DevOps Expert. Apart from working for our customers, you will also spend 20% of your time mentoring your Devoteam colleagues who aspire to become Enablers.

At the customer, you will be part of an Enabling Team which seeks to primarily increase the autonomy of stream-aligned teams by transferring knowledge and growing their capabilities. The core focus of the Enabling Team is to transfer knowledge, not to execute. As an ‘enabler’, you will play a crucial role in translating business needs to technical requirements but also in inspiring the organization in experimenting for continuous improvement.

You have vast technical knowledge, practical experience, and a good understanding of how a DevOps mindset can be fostered in Steam Aligned Teams. You build trust, encourage, and inspire.
- Mentoring, coaching, communication and teaching skills are a must
- Familiarity with Team Topologies
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with SDLC, GitFlow, TDD, BDD, DDD, and IaC
- Skilled at quality assurance: unit, functional, behavior, e2e, performance, security, and resilience testing
- Mastering network provisioning, governance, observability, and disaster recovery
- Expert in either Azure / AWS / Google: Native Cloud resources and architectures (CAF, APPM), Kubernetes, Monitoring, Identity Management, and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevOps, and Continuous Integration methodologies
- Understanding governance, compliance, and regulation policies and how to integrate them in the daily workflow of IT teams
- Fluent in Dutch or French and good knowledge of English
