**Function**:
To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Dispatcher for our Fashion department TML Ghent.

As a dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for our drivers. These can be CE, C and B drivers. Problems, delays or questions? You are happy to help and support them.
On the other hand, you are also in contact with our various customers. A complaint or problem? Here, too, you look for the best solution and address the driver in question.
Between all this interaction, there is of course some administration to be done. Reporting absences, transport documents, supporting the planners if necessary, entering transport data in our TMS package,..... You can handle these matters smoothly.

**Your tasks**:

- As a dispatcher, you will monitor the execution of scheduled rides to our customers. Supervise the departure and arrival of rides.
- You detect possible deviations or delays and consider alternative or sometimes creative solutions.
- You are in close contact with our drivers to assist them or give additional instructions.
- Transparency is key so you provide regular updates to customers and work closely with them.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers is a priority for you.
- You check and follow up on transport documents to ensure that everything is in order.
- Managing orders in our TMS package so that all data is correctly registered.
- You coach, motivate and assess drivers (work meetings, training plans, follow-up and evaluations).

- Knowledge of transport or experience in a similar position will give you an extra edge.
- You have an excellent knowledge of the Belgian road network.
- As a dispatcher, you are an independent and autonomous worker, but you also work closely with the transport planners.
- You enjoy monitoring trips and sending drivers safely on the road.
- Every driver and customer is helped by you in their preferred language. This can be in Dutch, English or French.
- You are a master at handling stress.
- Alternating between early and late shifts does not put you off and keeps the work interesting.
- You communicate easily and are an open and friendly person.
