Program Manager Strategy Implementation

What the job is about

As a Program Manager Strategy Implementation you will support and guide in the **development, definition and implementation **of Sofico's Strategy. You familiarize with our key strategic fields and **define a change roadmap **to guide the organization through the strategy implementation journey, with impact throughout all operating units and teams.

Your work also entails introducing a cadence of **strategy vision and refinement **. You'll therefore support the long term planning cycle by **organizing workshops **in which trends and strategic themes that may impact the long term strategic goals are discussed.

You'll support the realization of strategic objectives by
- Defining the best possible approach for strategy roll-out.
- Organizing regular **reviews of the strategic pillars **and their scope and priorities.
- managing the strategy implementation.

It is also your responsibility to **install processes and approaches **to turn global strategic ambitions into action on all organizational levels and/or through specifically designed programs or projects. You will be in charge of **installing a process of refinement **, in which strategic goals are being made more specific in function of priorities, and upon which actions are taken. Doing so, you will **organize trackers **to monitor progress in terms of strategy realization.

Your **day-to-day program management activities **include:

- Executing or supporting execution of selected key projects/programs.
- Highlighting pitfalls in strategy execution and provide risk mitigation.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the approach for onboarding the strategy implementation teams & define and monitor the change management needs in terms of communication plan, onboarding,.
- Providing a framework and communication plan for clear strategy (progress/realizations) communication within the organization, to a level that is relevant for colleagues and to key players taking ownership in specific programs and projects.

As a Program Manager Strategy Implementation, you work hand-in-hand with the Senior Management and Portfolio Management and report to the Head of 'Strategy & Program/Project Delivery'. You will work with them to ensure sponsorship of strategic fields, projects, tasks and scoping is clear and correctly prioritized in line with strategic goals and budget. At last, you will also **support the management **in preparation of the internal portfolio board and Board of Directors.

Your interest and skills

One of the key competences for this role is being highly **stress resistant **. A strong personality and keeping calm when needed are pre-requisites. Next to that, you have **great communication skills **and know-how to adjust your communication style to the situation and the counterparty.

In this role, professionalism and **discretion **are key. We are looking for someone who is positive minded, driven, flexible and has a strong sense of **responsibility **. Besides that, you have excellent **stakeholder management skills **as well and you are accurate and well-organized.

What else is expected:

- Excelling in **program/project and team management **is required.
- You must be able to lead the conceptualization and implementation of projects in a structured and efficient manner.
- This comes hand in hand with a thorough understanding of **business operations and procedures **and at least 3 years of experience in **strategic planning and transformations **.
- Experience in strategy definition and implementation built up while working for a big 5 consultancy firm is a plus.

At last, you have experience in **change management **, a strong affinity with the culture of the organization, and easily see new ways to improve collaboration and connections. **Building a strong network **with people across different levels is required. The communication language for this role is **English **, so you must have a fluent level of this language.
