Located in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Grenoble, and Brussels, Insitoo Freelances is an entity of Insitoo Group, specialized in Freelances sourcing and supplying.Since 2007, Insitoo Freelances has been a reference in IT thanks to its expertise, transparency, and proximity. We are looking for a BI Functional Analyst for our client in Brussels.

Responsibilities:

- Gathering and understanding the managerial and operational reporting requirements expressed by the business and the business process analysts
- Writing and structuring business specifications and functional analyses (business rules) in collaboration with the business process analysts and IT Analysts;
- Prototyping the business rules to ensure their validity (using SAS Enterprise Guide);
- Analysing and profiling data from operational systems to validate data quality;
- Defining a glossary with the BPAs or business experts to bring all users into line with the concepts and definitions used in BI;
- Logically model the DWH business model and the BI model (Star Schema);
- Logically model the DWH and datamart integration flows;
- Designing and implementing data presentation solutions in SAS Visual Analytics;
- Testing and documenting the solutions implemented prior to Business Acceptance Tests (BAT);
- Supporting the business in drafting test scenarios (based on reports and business rules), defining test cases and executing BATs;
- Defining with the business the standard rights and accesses granted to users (depending on their role/profile);
- Preparing training materials (in collaboration with the BPA) and provide end-user training;
- Be the primary guarantor of the quality of deliverables for which you are responsible or on which you are involved: Functional Design Document, Source-to-Target Mapping, EDWH and BI Logical Data Model, SAS VA Reports, Tests & Issue Log, Training material
- To support the PM and Functional Lead in their decision-making regarding the conduct of the project, the risks identified and the solutions to mitigate them, the scope to be developed and the effort required to carry out the tasks.

Expected skills and experience:

- Proven experience as Business Intelligence/Data analytics Analyst or Business Intelligence/Data Analytics Consultant - Medior - Must have
- Proven experience in BI or Analytics domain - Must have
- Proven experience with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) - Must have
- Proven experience with SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA) - Must have
- Certification or proven experience as Project Manager - Must have
- Knowledge of SAS Data Integration - Should have
- Proven experience with Power BI - Should have
- Proven experience with SAS Viya - Should have
- SAS Certification: Base Programming - Should have

Language requirements:

- English - Fluent - Must have
- Dutch or French - Fluent - Must have
