Senior Accountant

**Your challenges**:

- Monitor and control the input of daily bank transactions to ensure correct and complete processing of data.
- Process incoming invoices from various Belgian Balta entities.
- Take care of the tax & VAT transactions in cooperation with the Accounting Manager to respect the legal accounting and tax rules.
- Prepare and process monthly and quarterly balance sheets and financial statements to meet accounting requirements and provide management with the right data to implement policies.
- Assist management, provide advice in the specific field and perform ad hoc tasks with the aim of supporting management in achieving their objectives. Keep himself/herself constantly informed of the evolutions and developments in the field of accounting, keeping his/her knowledge up-to-date according to regulatory changes in order to strengthen his/her credibility by offering a service that is constantly based on updated knowledge.

**Jouw talenten**:

- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in business economics or finance.
- You can work according to well-defined procedures and prepare basic reports upon request.
- You are a specialist in accounting and accounting systems.
- You are someone who likes to take initiative, who clearly knows how to get to work and who perseveres
- You have good organizational skills which enable you to bring structure to your work environment.
- With your critical mind you dare to question the operation and make adjustments where necessary.
- You are assertive and can work independently.
- You are stress resistant and you communicate fluently at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not a requirement.
