The HSEQ Department at our offices in Brussels (Guimard; see the map here) is looking for a **Prevention Advisor** (M/F/x).

Fluxys aims to be the key infrastructure partner for accelerating the energy transition by gradually reorganising the natural gas grid into a complementary system incorporating new molecules: natural gas, hydrogen and carbon dioxide. To achieve this goal, Fluxys builds on the unique assets of its gas infrastructure, its technical and commercial expertise, and a safety culture shared by all its employees. One of the missions of the Internal Service for Prevention and Protection at Work (ISPPW) is to support the company and its employees in this change by strengthening the safety culture at all levels of the organisation..

As a Prevention Advisor, you will ensure the proper implementation of well-being legislation, prevention policy and legal obligations regarding personal safety. You will also drive new initiatives to improve awareness of workplace safety.

**Your**
**responsibilities***:

- You will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and well-being within our company
- You will ensure that legislation on well-being and safety at work is rigorously applied. Drawing on your expertise, you will enforce the prevention policy and legal obligations at all our sites, thereby ensuring a safe and healthy working environment
- In the field, you will be a real ambassador for safety. Through your discussions with teams on operational sites and projects, you will raise awareness of the importance of safety among your colleagues and help them to adopt responsible behaviours
- Your role will also involve analysing incidents and accidents in order to learn from them and prevent new risks. You will carry out in-depth assessments of potential hazards and ensure that tools and facilities are commissioned in strict compliance with safety standards
- You will play a key role in assessing the safety level of our sites. Based on your findings, you will make specific, tailored recommendations to continuously improve our practices and strengthen the safeguarding of our teams
- Your expertise will play an active part in drawing up and developing the company's safety policy, in particular by compiling action and preventive management plans. You will also monitor the dynamic risk management system and provide clear and precise reporting on the progress of the initiatives deployed
- Last but not least, you will be a driving force behind the development of innovative and sustainable initiatives to promote constant safety awareness. You will inspire your colleagues to incorporate these principles into their daily work, thus helping to build a strong, shared safety culture

**About**
**you***:

- You have a master's degree or equivalent experience. Ideally, you have completed additional training as a Level I or II Prevention Advisor, or you are willing to undertake such training to further develop your skills
- You have a genuine interest in the technical aspects of safety and are able to tackle challenges in a structured and professional wayv
- A convincing and reliable communicator, you inspire confidence with your diplomacy and assertiveness. You are able to defend your points of view while nurturing constructive and open dialogue
- As a committed employee, you always prioritise shared objectives and make an active contribution to our collective success
- Flexible and pragmatic, you approach every situation with a positive mindset and seek practical solutions
- You are fluent in French and Dutch and have a good command of English, enabling you to work effectively in a multilingual environment
- You hold a category B driving licence and are willing to travel regularly in Belgium to visit our various sites and projects
