**Description of the assignment**:
- The following tasks are the responsibility of the Power BI Developer:
- Design and development of optimized Tabular models in Power BI Premium based on the data from the Data & Analytics Platform.
- Supporting business BI teams in the development of Power BI solutions.
- Optimization of existing models with a view to the best performance and use of the available capacity on the platform.
- Close collaboration with business teams to translate the functional and technical requirements and provide expertise where needed.
- Following best practices in a development lifecycle
- Develop data mart based OLAP cubes.
- Writing optimized DAX.
- Writing technical and user documentation.
- Provide support for end-user questions.
**Profile**:
- Power BI Premium
- SSAS Tabular
- DAX
- T-SQL
- SQL Server (2016 ev)
- Dimensional Modeling
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
- Experience with Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Experience with Synapse Analytics is a plus.
**Have experience in**:
- Translating complex business issues into concrete solutions within Power BI.
- Consulting data in a Data Warehouse
- General governance principles within a Power BI platform
- Designing data marts according to the Kimball methodology.
- Building optimized OLAP cubes and writing DAX
- Data Visualization
