About the Role
: Join our EMEA Distribution Center in Machelen and play a key role in ensuring that life-changing medical devices reach patients safely and compliantly. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll work at the heart of operations, supporting quality processes across incoming goods, storage, and distribution activities. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, regulated environment and is passionate about maintaining the highest quality standards. What You’ll Be Doing: In this role, you will:
- Perform incoming and in-process inspections, identifying and handling non-conforming materials
- Manage returns, quarantine stock, and stop-ship materials in line with quality procedures
- Ensure proper segregation, storage, and labeling of sensitive materials (e.g. clinical, biohazard, or pending release)
- Support critical distribution activities including labeling, packaging, and product lifecycle controls
- Assist with internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Review documentation such as Device History Records (DHR) to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate records in systems (SAP and internal databases)
- Promote a strong quality culture across the distribution center What We’re Looking For: Experience & Skills:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a quality, logistics, or regulated environment (medical devices, pharma, or similar)
- Comfortable working with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 13485 or ISO 9001) is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Languages:
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required
