**Description Overview**:
Exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Associate to join the team at our office in Ghent Belgium. In this role you act according to the Quality Assurance (QA) vision, strategy and standards for the integrated central Perrigo QA group Quality Operations group for all product categories: medicinal products, medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics and biocides. Please note that this is a 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract.

**Scope of the Role**:

- ** QA representative within the cosmetic category and be responsible for all QA matters associated with these**:

- Assist with due diligence and integration of new product developments / new product introductions
- Support technical product transfers, qualification and validation work
- Investigate quality incidents, deviations and complaints, identify and follow-up CAPA’s and improvement plans together with third-parties (contract manufacturers, logistic service providers, distributors)
- To coordinate Change control process and follow-up implementation of changes
- Support in stability programs and review of stability results
- To support QA activities in data and document collection for regulatory purposes, including but not limited to maintenance of the cosmetic Product Information File
- Perform technical assessments of products, processes and documentation
- ** Coordinate Supply Execution quality tasks**:

- Coordinate and perform review of manufacturing deviations and non-conforming products
- Coordinate return of products and decide on final disposition of returned products
- Coordinate quarantine shipments and ensure correct release of products that have been shipped under quarantine
- Coordinate rework of cosmetic products and ensure correct release of reworked products
- Maintain correct product identification and traceability throughout the supply chain
- ** Support maintenance Quality Management System by**:

- Establishing and maintaining the Central CSCI Quality Management System in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices and Working Instructions
- Having a key role in reporting and investigating critical non-conformities and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assisting in performing internal QA and customer audits as appropriate
- Ensuring ongoing inspection readiness in your area of responsibilities
- Reporting and following up corrective/ preventive actions as appropriate
- Providing input for analysis of data and/or management review activities as appropriate
- Identifying training needs
- Ensuring adherence to critical procedures and compliance to requirements for record retention
- Following up on actions of complaints if requested
- Identifying gaps and areas for improvement in QA processes and to lead remedial actions and initiatives as appropriate
- Providing quality expertise to various departments, affiliates and logistic providers
- Maintenance of databases and documents according to good documentation practices and record retention procedure

**Experience Required**:

- Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, biochemistry, chemistry or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 3-4 years in Quality/Technical support within a Healthcare Company
- Experience with project related work and working with cross-functional teams
- Self-starter, capable of working autonomously at a corporate level
- Strong project management skills & team worker in a multicultural environment
- Clear communicator, practical and solution orientated.
- Persistent drive for results in a fast-paced environment, utilizing sound project focus, organizational and problem-solving skil
- Fluent English skills, other languages are an asset
- Experience with cosmetic products is a plus
