ABOUT THE ROLE
: Job Purpose: Commercial Planning is part of the Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department and is responsible for the Master Production Plan of Bridgestone EU Commercial plants (products for Truck & Bus, Agricultural, and Off‑Road vehicles) on an Operational and Tactical horizon (up to 18 months). The team is looking for a new intern to support different activities. Responsibilities:
- Collect data and issue key reports shared with top management and stakeholders
- Support teams in key projects (e.g., reporting transfer to Power BI)
- Support teams in planning the import of products from other Bridgestone entities (Japan, Americas, Thailand, etc.) into Europe
- Document key processes within the Operational & Tactical Planning team
- Support OPP & Tactical leaders in data analysis and monthly PowerPoint presentations for plants and top management Interaction Scope: As a Commercial Planning Intern, the role interacts mainly with OPP & Tactical teams within Commercial Planning, as well as plants, COE, Tactical Planning, Distribution Planning, and Demand Planning teams. Qualifications & Experience Required: _Education_:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering _Experience_:
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with OMP or MS Access is a plus _Technical Skills_:
- Competency in data analysis tools (Excel, Microsoft Business Intelligence, other relevant BI tools) _Languages_:
- Fluent in English
- Any other European language is a plus _Soft/Behavioral Skills_:
- Planned and organized approach
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to translate numbers into insights and present them clearly
- Excellent analytical skills
- Detail‑oriented and accurate
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with cross‑functional teams
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders with different backgrounds and personalities
