Als **treinbestuurder**bestuur je technische treinen op het spoorwegnet in exploitatie om materiaal te leveren aan bedrijven die werken aan projecten voor TUC RAIL, Infrabel of derde partijen.

Concreet bestaat jouw rol als treinbestuurder erin:

- Technische treinen besturen op het netwerk in exploitatie;
- Naleving van de reisplannen om ervoor te zorgen dat de voorraden binnen de gestelde termijn worden geleverd;
- Respecteer de ontvangen signalen en instructies;
- Strikte toepassing van veiligheids
- en milieumaatregelen;
- Gevaarlijke situaties en handel proactief zijn in geval van nood;
- De taken van een treinbegeleider op de weg uitvoeren wanneer het nodig is.
- Je hebt een diploma middelbaar onderwijs (een A2 in een technische richting is gewenst);
- Je bent communicatief;
- Je bent flexibel en kan je aanpassen aan veranderende werkomstandigheden op werven;
- Je bent bereid om regelmatig 's nachts en in het weekend te werken;
- Je bent bereid aanvullende opleidingen in jouw vakgebied te volgen, evenals opleidingen op het gebied van veiligheid en spoorwegexploitatie;
- Je bent zeer mobiel en bereid om in België te reizen;
- Je hebt kennis van het spoorwegnet en liefst een (korte) soortgelijke beroepservaring.
