**Project Leader, Meetings & Events (Hybrid)**
Fulltime (37,5u/week), Teleworking/Antwerpen - Berchem

As a Senior Project Leader, you will organize meetings, group bookings, and events for our corporate customers in different EMEA countries. Does it give you the energy to deliver high quality while keeping an overview of the multiple projects you manage simultaneously? Then you are the one we are looking for

You will be part of the operational team of BCD M&E in Belgium that is responsible for the meetings & events of many customers, from simple meetings to more complex events. As the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, you will handle the projects from A to Z. You will search, negotiate, and book hotel rooms, meeting locations, catering, transportation, restaurants, and activities. You will also handle the financial reconciliation and other services the customers might request, such as building registration websites.

You will be the primary contact for one of our new clients and start building a relationship with them. In case of growth of their business, you will take the lead in training other colleagues to make sure all processes are followed correctly.

**As a Senior Project Leader, Events, you will**
- Source, research, negotiate (rates and terms & conditions), and facilitate proposals for group business travel, meetings, congresses, and events
- Create offers, calculate budgets, and write chronological scenarios/project flows
- Manage the bookings with specialized software (project management tool, registration tool, sourcing tool, reporting tool, etc.)
- Maintain an excellent professional relationship with your customers and suppliers
- Invoice booked services, verify client payments, and manage commission process
- Responsible for Quality Control of meeting data, follow-up on inconsistencies, missing information
- Follow up on the after-sales processes

**About you**:

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English & Dutch or English & French; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
- Degree in tourism or equivalent through experience
- Good computer skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Interest in other Software, e.g., building registration websites through a special tool
- Knowledge of the MICE world
- Knowledge of Cvent (sourcing, budget, and registration tool) is a plus
- Respect deadlines as per the client’s Service Level Agreement
- Respect both the client’s and BCD’s rules and regulations
- Ability to negotiate pricing & concessions and accept responsibility for projects
- Ability to work occasionally on flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
- Ability to travel on-site for client projects
- Excellent customer service and phone
- Strong attention to detail

**Work location**

BCD Meetings & Events offers you a teleworking contract for this function. Our flex office in Antwerpen-Berchem (across the train station) is available for team and client meetings. We meet in the office one day per week.
