Furthermore his/her role includes the responsibility to drive business process improvement in the Category, in that way instilling a culture of continuous improvement in our cross-functional collaboration.
He/she will work closely with the category management team seeking to innovate and improve the value of services the PMO function provides.
He/she will report to the Senior Vice President Diamond Tools and will be part of the Diamond Tools management team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the project management standards to improve productivity, decision making around financial spending, and ensuring the realization of business objectives.
- Develop processes, procedures and tools to improve our product creation and product improvement process, as well as our way of working when it comes to cross-functional collaboration
- Responsible for meeting project scope, on time, with right quality, product and project cost.
- Take full cross company ownership for his/her projects, effectively manage the full range of stakeholders, drive the projects successfully towards defined and agreed results and promote the project success
- Proactively identify project risk and generate alternative mitigation plans. Provide input into solutions for increasingly complex problems and issues
- Program / Project prioritization, status tracking, and reporting / communication.
- Lead, inspire and grow a group of PMO professionals towards a highly innovative, effective, and successful team
- Strategically influence and build cross-functional relationships to deliver the best outcome
Who are we looking for:
- University degree in Engineering, Science, Management or related discipline
- 5+ years working experience with 3+ years experience in Project Management
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, agile in best practices and collaboration tools
- Successful track reacord leading cross-functional teams
- Enjoy working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
He/she has the ability to influence others. He/she is skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects. He/she has the ability to work with teams of all levels and you build strong, collaborative relationships. He/she has excellent communication skills including the ability to concisely articulate analytical and strategic data.
