Business Analyst

My client is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to play a key role at the very center of their business. You will collaborate with departments across the business and be right at the heart of the growth and innovation of the brand.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will actively support a range of key strategic commercial projects and measure their success - all designed to add substantial value to the commercial decision-making of the company.
- You support the Sales team European wide by customer performance analysis, reporting, and providing financial insights.
- You ensure the teams have access to data visualisations and consistent dashboards, reporting suites and tools that drive commercial actions, enable performance review and tracking, and monitoring of campaigns and customer behavioral metrics.
- You develop Power BI dashboards, create reports and structures (not just a user)
- You promote a better understanding of wholesalers margin, summarise information about competitors, and contribute to wholesaler strategy.
- You are the sole responsible for informing mid and senior management about sales activities via clear and accurate reporting and presentation periodically.
- You not only collate, analyse and present data, but you also have a deep understanding of what is behind the figures in terms of sales growth and strategy. You know the story behind the data and are able to take the data and be part of transforming it into strategy.
- You manage one Sales Support Assistant via dotted line, providing clear guidance and some coaching activities to optimise the partnership.
- Occasional travel within Europe.
**Requirements**:

- Min. 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Financial Controller position and able to assume a role with a high level of ownership and responsibility
- You will be inquisitive and an expert within your area. You will have a combination of data sufficiency, project management, and commercial awareness
- You thrive on proactivity, leading projects, and communicating with decision-makers throughout the business
- You have commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- You are highly numerate and analytical
- You are a strong team player with leadership skills
- You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and are an advanced user of Power BI, able to create and structure reports rather than just be a user
- Fluent English: French or Dutch is an asset.
