Context

For realizing its ambitious objectives, Bank Degroof Petercam is looking to reinforce its financial department with a Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer.

Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Manager, you play a key role in preparing all financial regulatory reports for the Belgian Bank, related as well to its statutory financial reports as the consolidated ones, and contribute to an optimal financial management of the company.

Your Position
- Together with your team, you establish and follow up all financial statements and regulatory reports with a focus on the CoRep related reports
- You ensure a timely and accurate delivery of the regulatory reports in your scope towards the regulator via the dedicated tools; You ensure you can explain the variance and answer to the eventual data quality questions from the regulator, the auditors and management;
- You provide a solid basis for the planning and steering of operations in order to ensure that the reports and underlying accounts reflect the correct status of the organization;
- You ensure that the consolidated reports reflect correctly the consolidation financial statements of the Business Units and different entities of the Bank, prepared by another dedicated team;
- You perform a strong first level of control on the produced reports and a second level of control on the quality of the underlying accounts (both static data quality and financial data quality controls);
- You are constantly developing your knowledge about the regulatory environment and the accounting standards and contribute actively to any maintenance or updates of existing processes and solutions; you ensure that all processes are well documented; You are able to translate the regulatory evolutions into functional and technical requirements towards our internal IT department and towards our external software provider. You are involved in testing the developed evolutions and to appropriately use them afterwards;
- You are solution-minded and promote a Continuous Improvement Culture.
- You contribute as a service provider to all internal (and external) clients, specifically the other finance teams and Risk Management;
- You ensure that reports are delivered in compliance with all standards and regulations as well as with closing office requirements.

Your Profile
- You have a Bachelor / Master Degree in a business or finance orientation or you have a relevant experience in the financial sector;
- You have a good command of IFRS regulations;
- Knowledge of the CRR regulation and experience of reporting systems or processes is a 'must';
- You have affinity with management;
- You are ‘hands-on’ and feel comfortable with IT tools in general;
- You are agile and are able to adapt in a changing environment with regard to tools and processes;
- You have an analytical and constructive critical mindset and you are able treat a lot of data from different sources in end-user tools. You have an eye for detail and work accurately;
- You have strong interpersonal skills and you are a team-player;
- You have the ability to translate figures into clear and practical advice and reports for internal and external stakeholders;
- You take initiative and you are pro-active. It is in your nature to continuously strive towards more efficiency and more quality and you communicate constructively on your ideas and suggestions.
