**About the Job**
Introducing the role of Scrum Product Owner In this job, you’ll be essential to building the bridge between the Codit development team and our customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborating with business owners and stakeholders in order to understand their needs and to translate them into user stories.
- Managing the product backlog, breaking down items and prioritizing them on the backlog, based on changing requirements and expectations.
- Evaluating work and providing feedback.
- Helping with backlog refinement.
- Defining and owning the product’s roadmap.
- Communicating with the development team and stakeholders about progress and expectations.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies.
**About You**
You:
- have several years of experience in a similar role as Product Owner in an IT environment (preferably in DevOps and/or Jira).
- have knowledge of Agile development principles and Agile development lifecycles.
- are/strive to be certified as SCRUM Product Owner (such as SCRUM.org, SCRUM Alliance, SAFe, etc), or other similar certification in SCRUM or Kanban (such as SCRUM Master, Kanban management professional).
- have experience with using metrics and feedback to improve processes.
- thrive off communicating extensively with customers and other stakeholders, and so possess solid communication skills.
- can take responsibility and motivate your colleagues.
- are a problem solver with a ‘let’s get things done’ attitude.
- are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
