Senior Accountant
To strengthen our Finance team based in Belgium, we are looking for an experienced Senior accountant to perform general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the financial transactions for one or more Ravago entities.

As a Senior accountant you will be responsible for the reconciliation of the account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger transactions, preparing month-end close procedures and ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks. A successful Senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyse financial reports and forecasts.

- Manage the accounting and finance positions of our Belgian companies, which cover distribution companies, manufacturing entities, service companies and our group factoring company;
- Manage interactions with both internal and external contacts;

***Your background**

**Education**
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Master Degree within Finance;
**Experience**
- Proven experience (+5 years) as a financial controller or senior accountant in an international organisation;
- Experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year-end close process, tax declarations and the annual audit;
- Good communication skills and enjoying personal contacts;
- Hands-on experience with ERP and Accounting tools;

**Language skills**
- Fluent knowledge of English and Dutch is required, both verbal and written.
