**Location: Zaventem, 50% remote**

**YOUR MAIN TASKS**
- Design and implement Java based backend services using a current technology stack and adhering to DDD principles.
- Participate in the architectural design and implementation of intercommunicating bounded contexts.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements.

**WHAT EXPERIENCE DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU**
- Extensive practical experience in Domain Driven DesignUbiquitous language, Bounded Contexts, Context Maps, Event Storming

Domain Model, Aggregates, Entities, Value Objects, Commands, Event Driven Architecture & Event Sourcing, CQRS, Sagas
- Excellent knowledge and practical experience with Java 17 and subsequent releases (in general, we follow the LTS release of Java if technically possible).
- Excellent and practical experience with Kafka.
- Excellent knowledge of event driven design and implementations.
- Extensive experience with Microservices implementation
- Excellent knowledge of Microservices architectural patterns
- Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot & Java EE
- Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented design & development
- Excellent command of Testing: Junit 4 & 5, Mockito, Hamcrest, Spring testing, Integration testing
- Good knowledge of REST API design & development
- Good knowledge of different persistency solutions
- Good knowledge of integration technologies (JMS, Camel,)
- Good knowledge of JSON and Avro
- Having knowledge of DevOps teams employing CI/CD pipelines.
- Having worked with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo).
- Good understanding of OWASP TOP 10 and secure code implementation.
- Inquisitive and analytical mind.
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural multi-functional environment where consensus is critical for success.
- Customer and end-user focused.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.

**WHAT ARE GREAT SKILLS TO HAVE**
- Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams and KSQLDB.
- Experience with Confluent tooling, including Confluent Schema Registry.
- Having worked with OpenID Connect.
- Having designed & implemented API contracts in OAS.
- Having worked with Axon to implement Event Sourced solutions.
- Experience with Cloud nativeDocker
