Offshore Wind Expert

IMDC is an international consultancy providing advice upon the development and management of water related projects in the offshore, marine, coastal and river environment. IMDC provides services to the renewable (offshore wind, wave and tidal energy), power generation (nuclear, gas), transmission infrastructure, navigation, integrated water risk management, ports & harbours, environmental and public sector markets (flood risks, coastal protection). IMDC has an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and strives to be a great place to work. **Your role** - You will be involved in all aspects of offshore wind (fix and floating foundations) and subsea power cable projects, from feasibility and site selection phase, over preparation of Basis of Design and coordination of desktop and modelling studies and offshore site investigations, marine engineering and consultancy, subsea cables engineering including cable landfall, cable burial risk analysis, dynamic cables and mooring analysis, until writing of tender documents for marine contractors, coordination and supervision of EPCI engineering and construction works. With several projects in the pipeline, we need you to further roll-out our > 20 years’ experience in offshore renewables projects- - Please check our Blue Energy webpage to gather more information about our services, mission and vision.**Your profile** - A degree in Coastal, Civil, Marine, Geoscience or Civil engineering. - At least 5 years’ experience in offshore wind projects. Experience in floating offshore wind is a plus. - Experience in working with project developers and / or marine contractors. - Experience in working with OrcaFlex or other similar mooring analysis software is a plus. - Knowledge of international guidelines. - Capable of working independently and taking initiative but also able to work as part of a team. - Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
