- **Senior Learning and Capability Development Specialist Europe-Africa**? In this role you will support the Learning Leader for the region and the overall Learning and Capability Development team managed by Tim Casserley (Global Director Learning and Capability Development)**Context of the role**:
In response to strategic business demands and Europe capability requirements you will work closely with our Learning Leader to plan and execute a learning, talent and career development strategy for Europe that enables delivery of the region’s strategic priorities and is in line with AP’s global direction on learning and talent. You’ll ensure that interventions, processes and tools are consistent globally and provide fit for purpose solutions. This position is a senior member of the Europe HR community and ensures that the contributions of this role are seamlessly and collaboratively delivered with other HR functions.**As our**
**Senior Learning and Capability Development Specialist**
**, you will**:

- Support the Learning Leader Europe to identify learning, career and organization development needs at a Regional level in consultation with business leaders, the HR Director and regional leadership team.
- Execute learning and career interventions for Europe in partnership with the local HR team, ensuring these are based on clearly defined business needs and metrics and they enable the delivery of the region’s strategic growth agenda.
- Assist the Learning Leader to support the relevant Global Technical Academy Leads to develop Technical Academy strategy and implementation plans.
- Support the Learning Leader Europe to identify relevant and appropriate external learning providers for specific learning projects, and work with Purchasing to select, contract and on board the chosen provider.
- Promote and advocate digital learning and the global soft skills academy (Delphi) with business leaders across the region.
- Ensure key learning interventions in Europe are executed by adopting a practitioner role in the following areas:

- Facilitate leadership development and interpersonal skill programs. Ensure programs are resourced by globally qualified internal facilitators.
- Support Academy Leads and Chairs to identify needs and propose learning solutions, including supporting the design and delivery of learning interventions.
- Implement assessment processes and interventions that accelerate the development and maturity of talent pools
- Develop and facilitate learning and career initiatives using a variety of approaches including blended learning using digital earning programs and virtually delivered events, as well as experiential approaches.
- Measure the learning effectiveness of learning and development programs based on a range of metrics including net promoter score, behavior change, skill acquisition etc.
- Share practice and strengthen collaboration across TCE and the regional HR team, developing synergies between the agendas of the different TCE pillars and HR Partners.

**Your profile**:

- Mid career professional with post qualification experience following the award of member status or equivalent in a professional institute, preferably CIPD.
- Batchelor degree. Ideally together with an advanced degree or qualification in OD, Learning or Psychology/ Behavioral Sciences
- Proven track record working as a senior individual contributor within learning and development in either a multi-national or large national organization.
