De afdeling Digitale Producten van de VRT is op zoek naar een freelance product designer (UX/UI). Je helpt bij het uitbouwen van ons digitale aanbod, je onderzoekt en bepaalt de best mogelijke gebruikersbeleving in een snel veranderend landschap.
Concreet zal je deel uitmaken van de afdeling Digitale Producten van de VRT. Dit is de plaats waar de digitale producten en formats van de VRT vorm krijgen. In nauwe samenwerking en samenspraak met alle verschillende merken, ontwikkelt en beheert deze afdeling alle digitale producten van de VRT. Van end to end services tot kleinere campagnes.

Als product designer bij VRT trek je zelfstandig design trajecten van idee tot bewezen impact bij de gebruikers en voer je UX én UI Design taken uit.
Ja staat in voor het bedenken van concepten samen met je collega’s (Product Owner & developers)
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen van ‘requirements’ in gebruiksvriendelijke desktop en mobiele interfaces, van uitwerken informatie architectuur naar user journeys tot oplevering UI designs. Je startpunt hiervoor zijn steeds leidende best practices en bewezen design principes.
Je designs focussen op de belangrijkste taken en volgen brand guidelines en toegankelijkheidsprincipes.
Je stelt Design Systemen op en beheert ze
Je vertaalt de merkidentiteit in een gebruiksvriendelijke merkervaring
Je ondersteunt je collega’s om designs om te zetten in functionele code.
Je hebt de vaardigheid om snel productnoden te vertalen naar ontwerpen die zowel functioneel als mooi zijn
Wie ben jij? Je beschikt over ervaring met het designen van digitale, inclusieve producten. Hiervoor maak je gebruik van recente design tools en je vindt vlot je weg in tools zoals Figma, Storybook en andere. Je combineert dit met kennis van UX principes.
Je hebt 5+ jaar bewezen ervaring als Digital Product Designer UX/UI
Je hebt kennis van UX- gebruikersstromen en informatiearchitectuur.
Je hebt kennis van het beheren en opstellen van Design Systemen
Je hebt sterke vaardigheden in het maken van wireframes, prototypen en visuele ontwerpen met behulp van tools zoals Figma of vergelijkbare software.
Je hebt goede probleemoplossende en analytische vaardigheden.
Je bent communicatief sterk en bent een echte teamspeler
Je hebt een portfolio dat je ontwerpvaardigheden en proces illustreert.
Contracttype
We bieden een freelance contract met een duurtijd van 6 maanden met een mínimaal volume van minstens 60 dagen. Mogelijks 3-maal verlengbaar met telkens 6 maanden. De concrete data en uren waarop de diensten zullen worden geleverd wordt in onderling overleg verder gepreciseerd.
