Solution Architect (Core Business Solutions) - (BRU205ZQ) Description Within GBS, you will join the “Settlement Roadmap” team where you can play a key role in the development of IT solutions for the settlement of securities transactions across the world, and the many and complex related services. **Role** - You support the delivery of transversal IT initiatives. In this context, you are accountable for the definition and the realization of end-to-end architecture solutions that satisfy the functional, non-functional, security and resilience requirements; - You actively participate to the development of the Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices in Euroclear, contributing to establish solution patterns and building blocks that can be reused by the IT community - Through your hands-on engineering and delivery experience, you contribute to the definition of domain target architectures and roadmaps. **Profile** - You have worked for more than 7 years in the IT industry. Experience in the Financial Services industry and the related regulatory environment are a plus. - You have worked as lead solution architect on large-scale transformation projects (> €10 MM EUR), designing, developing and deploying mission-critical transactional systems in large and complex organizations. - You have proven experience in IBM Mainframe and Windows.Net development stacks as well as a good command of Azure Cloud, APIs, Integration mechanisms and Data technologies in general. - You cope with problems of various levels of complexity, which can typically span across systems, functions, locations & organizations. - You can tackle autonomously all types of architectural analysis and can provide global and pragmatic recommendations adapted to the company context with little guidance. - You have the ability to work high-level such as contributing to Positioning papers and Reference Architectures, as well as the ability to zoom on the technical challenges of implementation. - You strive for a pragmatic approach (80/20 rule) and deliver fit-for-purpose and actionable results. - You are proactive in identifying the need for change and proposing solutions that are innovative and make the difference in improving our IT software delivery or engineering processes. - You can sell the architecture, i.e. you are able to effectively communicate and advocate for the architecture recommendations vis-à-vis the delivery teams and the senior business and IT management of the company. - A strong command of English is required. - Knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures (e.g. CSD), knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Archimate), and relevant experience with Agile operating models are extra assets. **What we offer**: - An excellent opportunity to practice and develop your talents in a highly professional international environment. - Working closely with inspiring, supportive and engaged colleagues from 80+ different countries, interacting with many stakeholders at all levels across the organization. - A learning and development focused environment with an emphasis on knowledge sharing, training, and reskilling. - We’re agile, we’re growing and so will you **New ways of working**: At Euroclear, we believe in an ideal balance between office and remote work toward business, team and individual needs, enhancing more flexibility, trust and individual accountability. **About us** The Euroclear group is at the heart of the global capital markets providing post-trade and related services to 90% of the world’s top banks.
