- The assignment
- You will acquire knowledge of the digital part of a complex image sensor.
- You will implement in FPGA the interface to deal with the control and readout of the image sensor
- You will write and/or run Python code to drive the evaluation set-up in the Imec image sensor lab.
- You will be hands-on in the lab to debug the set-up and to support the sensor designers for characterization. Technical coordination capability of the evaluation set-ups in Imec image sensor lab is a strong plus.
Required knowledge and skills
- A minimum of 5 year experience in a similar role.
- Understand digital design in integrated circuit.
- Expert in defining and coding digital functions in FPGA Write and modify Python code to drive measurement set-up.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope,.
- You are fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
Duration of the assignment
- Minimum 6 months, extendable up to two years.

- Fulltime (5days/week, 40 hours)
Location
- imec, Leuven
- You can work on-site in the Imec Leuven lab for your HW work and to support image sensor designers in their characterization work. (there will be flexibility to work remotely when presence in the lab is not needed). You can come to Imec on-call during standard office hours.
