Linux Expert

**Location**: Near Louvain La Neuve

**Language**: English (French is a + but not a must)

**Duration**: 1 year +

**Start date**: ASAP

As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:
Gaining knowledge of the company's IT infrastructure

Identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions

Participating in the installation, configuration, and deployment of the company's IT infrastructure at customer sites

Additionally, in the context of a current project, your duties will include:
Adhering to established configuration control workflows using Git to integrate your work with the team's efforts

Investigating and documenting deployment automation pipelines

**Profile**:
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration (SLES, OpenSUSE, and Debian)

Strong expertise in TCP/IP-based networking (design and administration)

Experience with virtualized environments (Vmware or KVM)

Experience in collaborative development using a GIT workflow and/or SVN

Proficiency in writing Python scripts

Working knowledge of Ansible playbooks and inventories

Basic familiarity with Windows administration

Active awareness of cybersecurity concerns

Excellent English communication skills (including technical writing)
