Hq - Be - Full-Stack Web Developer

LolaLiza is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer to drive the implementation of our new e-com platform
- Welcome to LolaLiza, the 100% Belgian fashion company which understands women and enables them to express all facets of their femininity. Founded in 2001, LolaLiza has a network of +90 stores spread across 3 countries (Belgium, France and Luxembourg), the majority being in Belgium. Besides our store network, we also have our webshop and a busy e-commerce activity representing 15% of our revenue and that will keep growing in the years to come.
- To support our e-commerce growth, we are launching a project to build a new website based on a solid API-first backend and a state of the art frontend (headless approach). As a Full-Stack Web Developer, you will have a leading role in this project. Moreover, you will be responsible for the overall quality and output of our web development work. In this role, you will report to the IT Director and you will join a small but dynamic IT team of about 10 people. You will coordinate the activities of our Dev team (3 people), in the respect of Agile/Kanban methods. Besides this, you will work closely with the E-commerce and CRM departments.

Your main responsibilities as a Sr. Full-Stack Web Developer will be the following:

- Implement and maintain our LolaLiza E-commerce websites (back-office and front-office)
- Manage integrations within our omnichannel environment (ERP, mobile app, marketplaces, BI tools, POS,...)
- Write technical analysis and architectural diagrams based on business requirements
- Ensure the quality of coding and the stability of our merchant sites
- Provide input on feature complexity, impact and feasibility
- Understand, share and improve all the operational aspects of e-commerce and digital transformation at LolaLiza
- Ensure the improvement of existing tools and solutions
- Analyze the backlog on a daily basis and set priorities according to the business needs
- At least 50% of your time will be dedicated to development

Your profile:

- You have a successful track record in a similar role (retail affinity is a plus)
- You have proficiency in both frontend and backend development
- You are familiar with web standards, more particularly in React, and have a working experience in the OOP (Java, Python)
- You have experience with Soap, Rest Web services as well as with Software Design and Application Architecture
- You have experience with automating and implementing recurring tasks in a CI/CD system (eg automated testing)
- Experience in working in a Scrum and/or Kanban environment is a plus
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and you have a great knowledge of English
- You are analytical and creative, proactive and a real team player
- You are able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- You are user-oriented and have a pragmatic approach
- You don’t have a ‘9-5 mentality’: you go the extra mile to solve problems as quickly as possible
