To reinforce our **Risk & Audit** department, Parkwind is looking for an **Internal Auditor.**

**Your role**:

- Coordinate and define the creation of the risk-based internal audit plan.
- Execute audit assignments - evaluating governance, risk management and control processes - in line with the audit planning. Depending on the assignment, the audit scope may cover regulatory, financial, contractual, technical and/or QHSSE topics.
- Formulate and monitor recommendations for improvement.
- Where relevant, collaborate with external audit consultants.
- Give input to the Audit Committee and the Board, providing independent and objective assurance, as to whether the risks threatening Parkwind’s objectives, are managed to remain within the determined Risk Appetite.
- There may also be assignments in the field of Risk Management.
- Overall objective is to help Parkwind sustain and improve the current internal control environment and spot improvement opportunities where relevant.

**Profile**:

- A relevant Master’s degree.
- Min. 5 years of auditing experience, preferably, but not necessarily within the renewable energy sector, in project development, construction or engineering.
- CIA certification is a plus.
- A genuine interest in renewable energy, in all its aspects (technical, financial, legal, etc.).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is a plus.
- A high degree of independence, but also capable of working as part of a team.
- Critical mindset, inquisitive, analytical, able to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
- Willing to travel (travel requirement is currently limited but could increase over time).
