Our client is a leading Investment Bank, ranking highly within the Leveraged Finance space. They are looking for a Vice President to join their European Lev Fin team in Belgium. Here, you will have the opportunity to manage the entire life cycle of deals whilst leading marketing efforts and building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead origination efforts and manage client pitching processes collaborating closely with internal teams
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Establish and cultivate a strong network across the leveraged finance market to identify new business opportunities
- Oversee day-to-day execution of leveraged finance transactions, including preparing internal credit memoranda, structuring leveraged loans, and crafting detailed cash flow and LBO models
- Support and provide mentorship to junior members of the leveraged finance team
- Lead interactions with clients, advisors, and co-lenders to ensure smooth deal execution, coordinating across internal credit, legal, and syndication teams
- Engage with senior team members on both commercial strategy and technical deal components, enhancing client engagement and driving value-added insights
- Maintain responsibility for compliance with the Bank's policies, internal guidelines, and industry regulations to uphold best practices across transactions

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or master's degree from a leading university or educational institution
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience within leveraged finance, private debt, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively presenting analysis and recommendations to team members and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and proactively improve deal processes
- Proven experience in guiding and managing junior team members effectively
