To strengthen our legal team, we are currently looking for a **Legal Counsel **dedicated to our **technology and infrastructure projects**.

You will join the current legal team of 15 whose key responsibilities are to provide legal advice to the other departments and companies within the CMB Group. You will work specifically on projects such as dual fuel marine engines and dual fuel trucks, hydrogen and ammonia infrastructure, dual fuel port equipment,

**What are we looking for?**
- Providing solution oriented legal advice on all matters in scope to enable proper monitoring, management and mitigation of the legal risks worldwide;
- Act as a true business partner for the technology development department;
- Occasional travel is part of the job.

**What do you bring?**
- Formal education: you hold a Master’s degree in Law. Any time spent abroad in the framework of your education demonstrating an international outlook is a bonus;
- You have at least **4 to 5 years** of relevant experience in private practice or as an in-house lawyer. Sufficient and profound knowledge of commercial law, intellectual property law and technology is a must in the context of CMB.TECH. Knowledge of corporate law including M&A is an interesting add-on;
- Languages: you have an excellent knowledge of **Dutch and English** (both spoken and written);
- You have excellent contract reviewing and drafting skills;
- You work meticulously and have an eye for detail;
- You are eager to learn;
- You are able to think strategically together with the business;
- You have strong communication skills, meaning you are able to translate complex legal matters into comprehensible language for non-lawyers;
- You are dynamic, pro-active and solution oriented;
- You have the ability to work independently, but at the same time you are a team player par excellence;
- You are flexible and pragmatic and dispose of a stress resistant personality able to manage time pressure.
