Senior Test Analyst

As a Senior Test Analyst you will be responsible to deliver all test activities within your assigned projects, and to implement processes and tests accelerating techniques. You will support internal initiatives to modernize the existing landscape and actively participate in all phases until implementation. **Your main responsibilities will involve**
- Create Test Plans in collaboration with testers and other team members (BAs, developers)
- Review and analyze product backlogs and collaborate with team members (Business Analysts, Developers, other testers) to define and/or understand acceptance criteria
- Develop test cases and test scenarios based on the system requirements, run peer-reviews and script the test cases as much as possible
- Participate in walkthroughs with respective business stakeholders
- Define and create test data for test execution
- Execute test cases as per the agreed testing plan and defined priorities, log and retest defects
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting of defects with developers and BAs
- Lead and participate in defect triage meetings and create test status and summary reports
- Ensure test environments are set up and available according to test plan schedule
- Training of other testers joining the team and support business user testing
- Report significant issues or concerns to other stakeholders (Product Owner, Technical lead, Test manager) before they escalate
- Add test automation plans inside CI/CD pipeline
- Identify improvements to existing testing processes or tools
- Work with test managers and other team members to ensure sharing of experiences, best practices and lessons learnt.
- Lead and manage a team of testers to work on functional test preparation and execution

**Your profile**
- As a Senior Test Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or similar
- 4+ years’ experience in Testing and Quality Management
- 2+ years in insurance industry.
- ISTQB Foundation Level, Certified Agile Tester or equivalent certification
- Good experience delivering projects with Agile frameworks
- Good knowledge of databases, middleware, web services and related standards
- Experience in business transformation
- Experience with IT Governance
- Fluent written and spoken English

**Skills and competencies**
- Working knowledge of test management tools (e.g. HP ALM, Xray, TFS, Azure DevOps) and other Agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Basic or good knowledge in some programing languages (Python, Javascript, Java) and other tools/frameworks (Robot Framework, Postman, Maven, similar)
- Experience or ability to develop new skills including test automation (REST-based / SOAP API with Postman or SoapUI, front-end with Selenium / UFT / Protractor, open source frameworks)
- Experience with DB: MS SQL Server, MySQL
- Experience with code repository/version control tools: Bitbucket, Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Bamboo, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Global, critical, innovative thinking with good presentation skills
- Positive attitude, strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Team player and able to create and work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to discuss technical topics in business terms to non-technical stakeholders
