**What you will be doing**:

- Preparing courier schedules and routes
- Coordinating the distribution of work amongst couriers helping them to achieve station's operational goals in the most efficient way
- Monitoring the daily delivery cycle, updating systems with accurate information to ensure correct execution of the daily pick-up and delivery assignments
- Providing support to the couriers and assisting them with issues resolution
- Contacting customers when needed to obtain additional information or advise on potential service-related issues
- Proactively reporting any issues that occurred during the daily delivery cycle to the management and compiling reports on station's productivity, volumes and performance

**What do you bring with you**:

- Experience in co-ordinating a team in a busy transport and / or dispatch environment an advantage
- Good Microsoft Office & PC skills
- Good geographical knowledge
- Focused on accuracy and attention to detail
- Driven to solve problems while using planning and organizing skills
- Able to communicate and align with different stakeholders
- Ability to manage own and teams time effectively with attention to detail in a pressurised environment

**Location**: Machelen
**Working Hours**: Primarily 12:00 - 20:06, with possible shifts from 10:00 - 18:06 and 08:00 - 16:06

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Dispatch Agent** to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating daily transport activities, ensuring smooth communication between drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders. You will take ownership of operational tasks, lead meetings when necessary, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and monitor dispatch activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, primarily in **French**, while maintaining **Dutch** as the general working language and using **English** for international correspondence.
- Lead meetings and briefings with confidence and clarity.
- Provide clear instructions and explanations regarding procedures, tools (e.g., scanners), and operational workflows.
- Handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Document and follow up on complaints, ensuring resolution and proper reporting.
- Maintain proactive communication with supervisors and team leads.
- Demonstrate strong geographical knowledge of the operational area.
- Work closely with driver supervisors to ensure efficient routing and issue resolution.
